Senior Vice President – Financial Reporting Director

Timothy O’Connor joined Global Securitization Services, LLC (“GSS”) in April 2002.  He oversees GSS’ financial reporting group, including the preparation of client financial statements, liaisons with auditors and the tax director and the daily monitoring of accounting functions through communications with the treasury department. 

Before joining GSS, Mr. O’Connor spent three years at Sempra Energy Trading as an Assistant Vice President, managing the retail energy sales accounting department. His responsibilities included preparation of financial statements as well as daily monitoring of the accounting functions.  Prior to that, Mr. O’Connor spent five years with A. Uzzo & Company, CPA’s PC.  During his tenure at Uzzo, he had exposure to many different aspects of accounting including development of internal control structures for accurate and efficient record keeping, audit engagements and income tax engagements.  This experience is applied to benefit the accounting needs of GSS’s clients.

Mr. O’Connor received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany in 1993 and obtained his New York Certified Public Accountant license in 1998.  He lives with his family in Pleasantville, New York.
